Thursday 29th May 2003: 20 Days old. What a little Porker! Karen took Bea to see the Clinic today to get weighed. She was 9lb last Thursday, and today she’s 9lb 14oz!!! Which apparently means she’s feeding properly.....I should say so!!! Karen’s out at a Body Shop party with Jackie at Katharine’s house so I’ve been left ‘holding the baby’, we’ve been playing poker and drinking beer, OK so she’s been crying and I’ve been changing nappies, such is life!

Thursday 5th June 2003: 27 Days old. Yep, she’s still going strong, she’s put on another 10oz and now stands (or lays) at 10lb 8oz, she’s almost grown out of all of her newborn clothes and is now moving on to mini-skirts and make-up! Karen says she’s getting bored at home now and wants to go back to work.........do you believe that? I don’t! Karen thinks one of the many attributes Bea’s inherited from me is her POT BELLY, I reckon she needs to take a trip to the opticians (why are you all shaking your heads?).

Sunday 15th June 2003: (Father’s Day!!) 37 Days old. Yes, it’s my first Father’s day, and Bea has been shopping...what a clever girl, she definately takes after her mother in that department! Anyway, lots has been happening since we last spoke, Bea went to her first wedding yesterday, Vicky and Graeme’s, and she was the star of the show (apart from the bride of course) and she also had her first night away from home at The Romans hotel in Silchester, very Posh! Apparently she didn’t sleep all night, I did thanks to my friend Stella Artois!!! Bea is still piling on the ounces and weighed in at 11lb 3oz last Thursday....maybe she had some Stella too!

Saturday 21st June 2003: 43 Days old. Yes, doesn’t she look all cute and cuddly in her summer dress ....... seconds after this photo Bea had to wear a different outfit because her breakfast made a bid for escape all over it!!! Update on the weight situation: 11lb 11oz on Thursday, and still following the 98/91 centile, what a whopper! We’re just off out to try and find a church willing to christen our little angel, hopefully she won’t make too much noise in front of the vicar.

Sunday 22nd June 2003: 44 Days old. After keeping mum up all night, she sleeps for dad, life’s so unfair (or fair depending on who’s looking at it).

Thursday 26th June 2003: 48 Days old. We’re all off on Bea’s first holiday, as you can see, she’s quite excited about it. She’ll be asking “are we there yet?” and screaming “I want to go to the toilet!”, actually no she won’t, she’ll just do it!!! Anyway, we’re looking forward to a couple of days of different scenery (and different shops.......)

Saturday 5th July 2003: 57 Days old. At last Bea is ready for the footie season to start!!! OK, so maybe it’s a few weeks early, but can’t you see how excited she is? She only just fit’s into this outfit, because as of yesterday she weighs in at 13lb. So I might have to buy her another one before the season starts!

Saturday 12th July 2003: 9 weeks & 1 day old. We went to the Goodwood Festival of Speed yesterday, Daddy didn’t really want to go and see all those cars but mummy forced him! We all had a really good time and I got a nice tan (as you can see). I’m now weighing in at 13lb 5oz and have decided that I want a Fiat 500 with wicker seats when I grow up (this is what mummy told me to say). We’re going to get mummy some glasses today!

Sunday 27th July 2003: 11 weeks & 2 days old. We’ve had a break from publicity for 2 weeks, but we’re back. Bea now weighs in at 13lb 13oz, and she’s almost outgrown her crib already! Bea now knows how to suck her thumb (the left one only), and her forefinger is searching for that all elusive nostril. We’ve arranged Bea’s christening for the 10th of August (you should already know this if you’re reading), but if not, phone us up and complain!

Tuesday 12th August 2003: 13 weeks & 4 days old. Well, that’s it I’ve had my first visit to the church, I’m now well and truly christened, and on the hottest day for 130 years, I must be special!! As you can see, my thumb is now my new best friend, I don’t need mummy & daddy any more.......ok so maybe I do a bit. This week also saw my first visit to the beach at Highcliffe with Michelle and Benjamin (my fancy bit). Mummy dipped my feet in the sea but it was VERY cold! I think I’m going to report her to social services (heh heh).
